The M. E. program in VLSI and Embedded Systems will cover the advance aspects of designing and developing VLSI & Embedded-based systems. The state of the art VLSI technology requires research in physical devices as well as novel design and development of Digital & Analog Circuits. The programs mainly covers the areas of System on Chip (SoC), Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASIC) Design, VLSI Design and Verification, Design of Analog and Mixed-Mode VLSI circuits, , Low-Power VLSI Design, Advanced Embedded Systems, Real- Time OS, Advanced Microcontrollers and Embedded Product Design.
Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will be able to design, develop and prototype VLSI systems, apply verification methods, design-for-test techniques to IC designs for testable designs and use hardware description languages to design cores and standalone logic.
